Dr Lee Choon Siong is the Founder and Managing Director of Weyly Sdn. Bhd., Penang, and the company’s sole shareholder. Since establishing Weyly™ on 2 June 2017, Dr. Lee has grown the company from a start-up into a recognised leader in the epoxy flooring and industrial painting industry through integrity, discipline, and client trust.
With more than 22 years of hands-on experience, including over a decade as a paint maker, Dr. Lee possesses deep technical knowledge of epoxy flooring systems, industrial coatings, and application methodologies. Notably, Weyly™ operates without a traditional sales force, relying instead on long-term client relationships and word-of-mouth referrals.
Under Dr. Lee’s leadership, Weyly™ commands approximately 70% market share in epoxy flooring and continues to expand its core divisions in project painting and repainting, heavy-duty industrial and parking lot flooring, and steel structure coating. The company has achieved annual turnovers exceeding RM1.3 million, with significant growth milestones including RM2.5 million in orders in 2021 and the successful completion of a 12,000-square-metre industrial factory project in Penang in 2024. In 2024 itself, the turnover increase from RM4.076 million to RM9.028 million in 2025, alongside the achievement of a total 62,000 square metres of completed projects.
Weyly™ serves a diverse portfolio of corporate, industrial, institutional, and property development clients across Malaysia and internationally. The company holds CIDB Grade 3 certification, IAQ recognition, and is an appointed licensed applicator by leading paint manufacturers.
