The objective was to rehabilitate deteriorated concrete floors and install a high-performance Polyurethane Screed Flooring System capable of supporting daily production activities while improving the overall factory environment.

During our initial site inspection, several critical flooring issues were identified that affected both production performance and long-term maintenance.

The existing Problems:

The client required a long-lasting flooring solution that could restore the concrete substrate while providing a smooth, seamless, and easy-to-maintain industrial floor.

At Weyly, every successful flooring project begins with a detailed technical assessment rather than simply recommending a coating system.

Our inspection identified the following conditions:

a. Extensive concrete cracks requiring structural repair.

b. Localised concrete failure requiring demolition and reconstruction.

c. Numerous repaired areas needing level correction.

d. Concrete surface contamination requiring mechanical preparation

e. Existing substrate requiring full grinding to achieve the correct Concrete Surface Profile (CSP)

f. Floor joints and wall perimeters requiring proper detailing before coating installation

Based on these findings, a comprehensive repair and flooring specification was

developed before installation commenced.

After evaluating the operating conditions and substrate condition, Weyly recommended the following system:
